OUR PHILOSOPHY
An understanding and knowledge of the Word of God, and a personal
relationship with Jesus Christ are the foundations for all success in life.
Unfortunately, too much of the world is lacking in both of these areas,
especially among our nations men.
According to the Barna Research Group based in Ventura, California, more than 90 percent
of American men believe in God and five out of six call themselves Christian, but only two out of six
attend church on a given Sunday. Church attendance is roughly one-third male and two-thirds female.
Additionally, of the men (and women) that are attending church on Sunday, a large percentage of
them are not walking out a victorious Christian life the rest of the week.
Therefore, the ultimate goal of this ministry is to put an end to lifestyles of defeat and create a culture of victorious living for men, women and families all over the United States. But it must begin with the men.
It’s been said that the youth of today are the leaders of tomorrow, so we must reach our young males and raise them up with godly convictions and wisdom. Therefore, as 2 Tim 2:2 suggests, we should commit this responsibility to men that are currently faithful students of the Word of God and who have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and have them multiply themselves into the lives of young boys.
In today’s world, many young boys grow up in homes without fathers. That is not to say that they do not have a father or know him, but too often the day-to-day godly male role-model is absent. Numerous single, divorced or widowed mothers battle against the influence of society as their teenage boys become more and more rebellious to authority and distant from healthy, life-giving values.
This ministry is being created with them in mind, as well as for society as a whole, who will continue to be
shaped by the quality of adults our young men (and women) become.
